Final report published on the project “Skills for the promotion and integration of cultural and tourist attractions”
The project “Skills for the promotion and integration of cultural and tourist attractions”, carried out as part of the Emilia-Romagna Region’s Supply Chain Call for Proposals with Cescot as lead partner, has come to an end.
The project involved local partners and stakeholders from the sector with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the skills needs of the regional tourism system and developing knowledge and collaboration tools to support its development.
Clust-ER Economia Urbana, in collaboration with Clust-ER Tourism, took part in the project by contributing to sector-wide initiatives, discussion forums and the formulation of recommendations aimed at strengthening the regional tourism ecosystem.
Upon completion of the activities, the final report “Analysis and proposals for strengthening the regional tourism ecosystem” was published, representing an initial structured account of the work carried out during the project.
The publication brings together the results of a process that integrated research, consultation with the sector, focus groups, inspirational talks, surveys and training sessions, with the aim of building a common knowledge base and identifying possible development pathways for future projects.
Among the themes that emerged, particular attention was paid to the relationship between skills, the region’s appeal, the integration of stakeholders and the regional tourism system’s capacity for innovation.
For Clust-ER Economia Urbana, these issues represent strategic areas of work, as they are closely linked to sustainable territorial development and the promotion of local economies.
