The Clust-ER Urban Economy brings together universities, research centers, training institutions, businesses, trade associations, third-sector organizations, and local authorities with the aim of supporting the competitiveness and innovation of the regional economic system. Clust-ER Urban Economy’s activities focus on topics such as urban and rural regeneration, social innovation, local commerce and services, as well as sustainable mobility, urban logistics, and innovative housing models, promoting innovative, sustainable, and inclusive development models.
Joining Clust-ER Urban Economy means contributing to the strengthening of the regional research and innovation system, fostering more effective interaction between the public and private sectors through:
- the development of shared initiatives aimed at implementing pilot projects and local laboratories throughout the Emilia-Romagna Region;
- the implementation of systemic actions designed to facilitate the sharing of resources, ideas, and expertise between the research sector and businesses;
- promoting initiatives for advanced training and the development of skills related to Clust-ER’s key themes;
- promoting initiatives for the development of research and position papers aimed at fostering innovation within the region and enhancing knowledge transfer.
