Lab MOVE-UP
The Clust-ER Urban Economy is a project partner of Lab MOVE-UP, an initiative developed within the Regional Territorial Laboratories of Emilia-Romagna (2024–2025). The project aims to promote innovative corporate welfare systems based on sustainable mobility policies for companies operating in the Port of Ravenna.
Lab MOVE-UP fosters collaboration between enterprises — particularly small and medium-sized port-related companies — public authorities and territorial stakeholders, with the goal of improving workers’ quality of life, reducing congestion and strengthening integration between the urban area and the port system.
Territorial scope
The project is implemented within the port area of the Municipality of Ravenna, a strategic hub of supra-regional importance involving 238 companies and approximately 16,000 workers, including direct employment, indirect activities and related supply chains.
Project objectives
Lab MOVE-UP aims to:
- develop a stable territorial network for local welfare services starting from mobility-related actions;
- increase the number of SMEs adopting corporate welfare policies linked to sustainable mobility;
- support the creation of a community of mobility managers operating within the Port of Ravenna;
- contribute to making Ravenna a more sustainable and accessible city, by reducing pollution levels and strengthening the port mobility system.
